Pudong, before the 90s of last century, there are still large tracts of farmland and fishing villages. Although it is only one river away from the downtown area of Shanghai, it seems particularly desolate here. “Would rather be a bed in Puxi, not a Pudong room,” which is the portrayal of the true state of mind of many ordinary people in Shanghai at the time. In 1990, the Chinese government designated Shanghai Pudong as a state-level development zone, which has become China’s largest and the largest development zone in the world. Fifteen years later, today’s Pudong is full of modern atmosphere: row upon row of high-rise buildings, fast and modern traffic, beautiful night scenery, bustling streets. Many international multinationals set up branches here, large financial institutions settled here, large well-known companies take root here ....... Pudong became a hot spot for one side. He attracted many Taiwanese businessmen on the other side of the Taiwan Strait who share the same roots to invest and start their own businesses. They grew up together with Pudong and took off together.
