常德市第一中医院位于市人民中路繁华地段,始建于1953年,在为人民健康保健事业服务的伟业中走过了42年的光辉历程。建院42年以来,特别是在改革开放的大潮中,医院不断发展壮大,已成为全市中医医疗、教学、科研的指导中心。设有市交通事故急救中心、中国蛇协血栓病研究所,并作为湖南中医学院的临床教学基地,不断为国家培养高级,中医药人才,是国家重点发展并列入国家“杏林”计划的中医院,成为国家创建的100所示范中医院之一。
Changde City No.1 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in the prosperous section of Renmin Middle Road. It was founded in 1953 and has gone through a glorious history of 42 years in the great industry that serves the people’s health care. Since the establishment of the hospital 42 years ago, especially in the tide of reform and opening up, the hospital has continued to grow and develop, and has become the city’s guidance center for Chinese medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. There is a city traffic accident emergency center and China Snake Association Institute of Thrombosis, and it serves as the clinical teaching base of Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It continuously trains senior and Chinese medicine talents for the country. It is a national key development and is included in the national “Xinglin” plan. The hospital became one of the 100 demonstration Chinese hospitals created by the country.
