在电力行业,东北地区通常指地处我国东北部的黑龙江、吉林、辽宁三省和内蒙古东部的赤峰市、哲里木盟、兴安盟和呼伦贝尔盟。按此划分,全区面积124万平方公里,占全国陆地总面积的13%左右。东北地区有着丰富辽阔的温带湿润森林和蔚为壮观的草甸草原,还有着分布广泛的冻土和面积广大的沼泽。东北三省的冻土面积近40万平方公里,沼泽面积达770万公顷,占全国沼泽总面积的70%。这些复杂多样的地理环境,对该地区自然资源的形成、演化,以及国民经济的发展产生着直接影响。
In the electric power industry, the northeast region usually refers to the three provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning in northeastern China and Chifeng, Zhelemu, Xing’an and Hulunbeier in eastern Inner Mongolia. According to this division, the whole area of 1.24 million square kilometers, accounting for about 13% of the total land area. Northeast China is rich in vast temperate moist forests and magnificent meadow grasslands, with a wide distribution of permafrost and an area of marsh. The northeastern provinces have a permafrost area of nearly 400,000 square kilometers and a swamp area of 7.7 million hectares, accounting for 70% of the total marsh area in the country. These complex and diverse geographical environments have a direct impact on the formation and evolution of natural resources and the development of the national economy in the region.
