Six months ago, he received the masterpiece “A History of Chinese Music and Aesthetics” (People’s Music Publishing House, 1995), a masterpiece of Professor Cai Zhongde from the Central Conservatory of Music. Slightly turned a bit, my head big: the book more than 800 pages, about one-tenth of the ancient Chinese, how to “bite”? Fortunately, but the beginning, not only difficult to “swallow”, and often Unexpected fun. One of the pleasures is that reading this book is equivalent to reading an ancient Chinese history of thought, cultural history, and philosophy of history at the same time. There is “Buy One Get Four”. Confucius, Mencius, Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu, Xun Zi, Dong Zhongshu, Si Maqian, Ji Kang and Li Tuan and others in Chinese ideology and culture; and the most important works on ideology and culture in modern China such as “Lu Shi Chun Qiu” , “Huainanzi”, “Music”, “Historical Records”, “Book of Rites”), “Han”, “sound no sorrow and sorrow”, “Meng Xi Bi Tan” , They all have a general or detailed understanding.
