电感应加热法是利用电磁场中铁质材料发热的原理来加热混凝土的。以柱子为例。在柱子钢模外边用导线缠绕一定数量的螺旋线圈,通电后,线圈内就会产生磁场,而线圈内的铁质钢模、钢筋骨架(加载器),当磁力线通过时,即产生感应电流(涡流)。由于钢模、钢筋骨架本身具有电阻,根据焦耳一楞次定律,感应电流可转变为热能,因此钢模、钢筋骨架周围的混凝土逐渐被加热。
