广东省广大文艺工作者在商品大潮中,注重社会主义精神文明建设,为繁荣文艺创作,向人民群众奉献更多更好的精神食粮而艰苦奋斗。为了检阅全省文艺创作成果,由广东省文化厅和省文联主办的第五届广东省艺术节,于9月18日至29日在广州举行。25个省、市、县级艺术团体演出了22台剧(节)目,其中有14台戏剧。其中有不少剧目努力反映人民的精神风貌
In the tide of goods, the vast number of literary and art workers in Guangdong Province paid great attention to the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and worked hard for the prosperity of literary and artistic creation and the dedication of more and better spiritual food to the people. In order to review the province’s literary and artistic achievements, the 5th Guangdong Provincial Arts Festival, sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, was held in Guangzhou from September 18 to 29. Twenty-one dramas (sections) were performed by 25 provincial, city and county art groups, including 14 plays. Many of the repertory work hard to reflect the mental outlook of the people
