为了对付不断发展的巡航反舰导弹,美国已研制出世界第一门速射电热炮的演示炮及其配用的小口径灵巧弹药。这种炮具有比常规发射药火炮更高的初速,且易于改进弹道控制,使用指令制导动能直接命中击毁的弹药提高了命中概率。与之相配套的演示用精确跟踪和瞄准用综合有Ku/W双波段雷达也已交付海军,并进行了试验。这一系统将为海军提供一种效能更好的点防武器系统。
In response to the ever-evolving cruise anti-ship missiles, the United States has developed the world’s first rapid-fire cannon demonstration gun and its small-caliber smart ammunition. The gun has a higher muzzle velocity than a conventional propellant artillery and is easy to improve ballistic control, using command-guided kinetic energy to directly hit the destroyed ammunition and increase the probability of hit. The accompanying demonstration of precision tracking and aiming with integrated Ku / W dual-band radar has also been delivered to the Navy and tested. This system will provide the Navy with a more effective point-of-defense weapon system.
