Contemporary postgraduates reading in extracurricular reading is an important content of quality education for middle school students in higher education. Strengthening extracurricular reading guidance of postgraduates helps to improve student management and is conducive to students' cultivation of world outlook, outlook on life and values. This article discusses the current status of contemporary postgraduate campus life and expounds the significance of contemporary postgraduate extracurricular reading guidance.
