In May 1992, the seventh annual meeting of the Chinese Workers’ Ideological and Political Work Seminar was held at the Silver Nonferrous Metals Company. The meeting emphasized that using the spirit of Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s talk to unify thoughts and actions and ensure the smooth progress of the reform and opening up with a strong ideological and political work is the top priority of the current ideological and political work in enterprises. The meeting first conveyed Li Ruihuan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat, on how to strengthen and improve the enterprise in the current situation
