西北红军虽然没有直接参加长征,但通过艰苦卓绝的斗争,牵制和消灭大量国民党军,建立了比较巩固的陕甘根据地。创建西北根据地,为红军长征提供了落脚点;开展军事行动,为红军长征提供了策应支援;建立群众基础,为壮大红军提供了力量源泉;培养干部骨干,为中国革命提供了大批人才,西北红军为长征胜利作出了重要贡献。
Although the Northwest Red Army did not directly participate in the Long March, it adopted a series of arduous and fierce struggles to contain and eliminate a large number of Kuomintang troops and set up a relatively strong base in Shaanxi and Gansu. The founding of the northwestern base area provided the foothold for the Long March of the Red Army. The military operations provided policy support to the Long March of the Red Army. The establishment of a mass base provided the source of strength for strengthening the Red Army. It also trained a large number of cadres for the Chinese revolution. The Northwest Red Army Made an important contribution to the victory of the Long March.
