作者认为,世界史与全球史的关系应当是整体与局部的关系,二者分别代表研究领域和学派。关于全球史的内涵。首先应当对人与自然的关系给予更多的重视;其次,随着人类进入太空,全球史的研究范围即将超出“地球”。在时间上,全球史研究应当对未来给予关注。全球史可以间接借助的学术资源包括未来学、地质学、生物学、复杂性科学和热力学。
The author believes that the relationship between world history and global history should be the relationship between the whole and the part, both of which represent the research fields and schools.
