1993年12月31日凌晨,正当人们辞去旧岁,喜迎新的1994年的时刻,204国道江苏大丰白驹段发生了一起特大车祸。滨海县汽运公司的大客车(江苏11/20391)由昆山返回滨海,在无任何外界影响的情况下,驾驶员因疲劳、精力不集中和超载,致客车翻入河中后起火,车上70名乘客,当场烧死8人,伤21人,客车焚毁。这起惨不忍睹的车祸惊动了各地政府和群众。交通火灾造成运输中的人身伤亡和公私财产的损失十分惨重,具有毁灭性,犹如“轮下火魔”,遍及天南海北,确实令人触目惊心……
In the early hours of December 31, 1993, just as people resigned their old age and celebrated the new 1994’s, an extraordinarily large car accident took place in the State Road 204, Dafeng, Jiangsu Province. Binhai Qiyun company’s bus (Jiangsu 11/20391) returned to the sea by Kunshan. Without any external influence, the driver was fueled by fatigue, lack of concentration and overload, causing the bus to turn into the river and caught fire. The bus 70 Passengers, burned 8 people on the spot, injured 21 people, the bus burned. This appalling car accident alerted all local governments and the masses.
