目前作为航空锻件用GC-4材料的冲击韧性α_k值一般在54J/cm~2左右,而合格模锻件要求在59J/cm~2以上。从生产质量统计分析,报废原因约有80%均系α_k值不合格。这不仅制约了工厂的生产,也给航天器材的可靠性带来严重影响。为此,由航空航天部提出并经国家计委批准,将“提高GC-4材料α_k值的研究”列入机电部国防军工配套科研项目,并明确提出了在保证综合性能合格基础上,α_k值目标值为64~69J/cm~2。
