In October last year, the British Academy of Film invited 200 of the world’s most famous film critics to participate in the Academy’s ten-time selection of the world’s top ten best films. The results of the selection show that the ten best-known titles have all been produced before 1963 and are repeatedly rewarded with the honor of being regarded as the historic and permanent world’s best film by the film industry. The films produced after 1963 have all been unsuccessful, and none of them have been qualified to enter the ranks of the “Top Ten”. This shows that the quality of the world’s movies is declining, the performer’s art is at a standstill.
