引子乐园地处鄂西南山区,属长阳土家族自治县的一个民族小乡,这里四面环山,一条小溪向西川流而过,森林繁茂,风景秀丽,空气洁净,可以说是山青水秀、人杰地灵,气候凉爽宜人。这里山势连绵起伏,形成从海拨、430米至1800米的立体气候,全乡国土面积237平方公里,19个村,164个村民小组,4300户,16000人,耕地面积25000亩。但就是在这个美丽的地方过去也是一片荒凉,乡政府所在地秀丰桥还只有一座木桥和三个瓦房组成的石板路小街,人们过着“糠菜半边粮,有病无药尝,出门穿草鞋,几件破衣裳”的清苦日子。一九七五年建乡后,各届党委政府带领广大人民群众艰苦奋斗,使这里发生了天翻地覆的变化,谱了一曲又一曲动听的民族之歌。
