袋装结构海堤是一种新型的海岸工程建筑物。它是用尼龙或聚丙烯裂膜编织袋装填建筑地点附近海底的砂筑成的,现已用于人工岛、北极寒冷地区工程以及浅海和潮间带的工程。这种海堤造价低,特别适用于缺乏石料和运输困难的地区。袋布厚薄可按强度要求选择。目前最大的砂袋名叫LongardTubes,长达150米,直径2米。
Bagged structure Seawall is a new type of coastal engineering buildings. It is made of nylon or polypropylene split woven bags filled with sand on the seabed near the building site and is now used in artificial island, cold arctic projects and shallow and intertidal projects. The low cost of such seawalls is particularly suitable for areas lacking in stone and shipping difficulties. Thickness of cloth bags can be selected according to the strength requirements. Currently the largest sandbag named LongardTubes, up to 150 meters in diameter 2 meters.
