乙醇和钠的反应是证明乙醇性质的重要实验,考虑到乙醇的挥发性和该反应是一个放热反应,课本装置中的火焰应为乙醇蒸气和氢气的混合气体所产生。要证明该反应的确产生了氢气,必须除去其中的乙醇蒸气。通过大量实验研究,发现利用滴有重铬酸钾酸性溶液的脱脂棉是一种切实可行的方案,并利用胶头滴管、球形干燥管进行实验改进,提出乙醇和钠反应的三种改进装置。
The reaction of ethanol and sodium is an important experiment to prove the nature of ethanol. Considering the volatility of ethanol and the reaction is an exothermic reaction, the flame in the textbook device should be generated by a mixture of ethanol vapor and hydrogen gas. To prove that the reaction did produce hydrogen, the ethanol vapor had to be removed. Through a large number of experimental studies, it has been found that the use of absorbent cotton dripping acid solution of potassium dichromate is a feasible solution, and the use of plastic head dropper, spherical drying tube for experimental improvement, proposed ethanol and sodium three improved devices.
