The Second National Congress of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection was held in Beijing from December 1 to December 5, 1983. There were 142 members including the first council member, the second director candidate, 27 provincial and municipal autonomous regions (excluding Tibet, Ningxia and Taiwan), 12 professional committees and formal representatives of local institutes.
