洛阳新区49、50号唐墓壁画其中仪卫腰部佩戴的虎豹纹饰品应为何物,原考古报告中并未确指,经考证研究,我认为当系弯月形的弓韬,及文献中称谓的“虎辗豹韬”。弓韬共分为五种形制:长筒形、三角形、刀把形、弯月形、弯月带兽头形。汉代弓韬的形制未长筒形;魏晋南北朝时期多为三角形或刀把形,到了隋唐时期弯月形的弓韬开始流行起来,它的形制来自西亚的波斯安息帝国,沿着丝绸之路传入中原。隋唐以后弯月形弓韬完全消失,弓韬的形制又回到了隋唐以前刀把形。
