Barium iron-based permanent magnets for the automotive and electrical industries. The magnet is made of barium ferrate and SrCO 3 powder. If the following mixtures (% by weight) are used for the production: 0.9 to 1.0 of SrCO_3 powder, 0.05 to 0.15 of amorphous boron powder and the balance of barium ferrate, the sintering temperature can be reduced without causing magnetic losses.
