Most of the existing open roads in Shandong Province are dirt roads, poor road embankment, diffuse water bridges are particularly large, so the rainy season on the road traffic Wei Association. For example, the flooding in 1953 flooded or thrust off a large part of the highway routes in Shandong Province, paralyzing the road transport for a long period of time, and water damage to the sores did not resume until the following year, with a huge repair project cost of more than 300,000 yuan. In recent years, due to the emphasis on rainy season protection work from top to bottom, the damage caused by water damage has been correspondingly reduced. In particular, in the rainy season in 1956, rainfall and water level exceeded the historical record even though the rainy season was advanced and extended to more than four months with 37 days of rainfall above 50 mm. However, due to the emphasis placed by the party and government at all levels, the support of the broad masses of farmers and the vigorous efforts of road maintenance workers, the loss of water damage decreased compared with the previous year, and the cost of repairing the project only cost over 80,000 yuan. Reflected in the transport, passenger completed 114% of the plan, an increase of 66% over the same period the previous year; freight completed 109% of the plan, compared with the previous year
