章飚是一个在自己艺术作品中卓越地保持理性与激情平衡的画家,又是一个努力在创造当代图式中最富田园气息的画家。他的作品是将激情经过理性的锤炼与打磨之后转化的艺术产物,充溢着浓郁的诗情和创造性。在当今中国画坛上,好友章飚又是成功从版画家转型、过渡到国画家的一位画家。作为继赖少其之后当今新徽派版画的领军人物,章飚那具有浓郁徽州地域特色和鲜明个性的版画作品,奠定了他在当代版画界中的地位;同时他还不遗余力地为推动安徽版画的普及创作与革新做出了大量努力。加上他为人耿直、谦和.因而深得大家的敬重。章飚在步入中年以后,开始迷上了水墨。他作画均取材于家乡的灵山秀水。这些画作一反他木刻作品的严谨,而是强调画面的灵动和水墨韵味,皖山徽水在他的笔下是那样清幽、纯朴而又耐人寻味。章飚生于皖南绩溪,而他所描绘的也都是养育他成长的这块徽州大地,他笔下所流淌着的是浓郁的乡土情结以及他对故乡的热爱之情。感受着悠远文化传统的熏陶,置身于青山绿水之间,大口呼吸着清凉的空气,这也让我在章飚的作品中,看到 Zhang Biao is an artist who has maintained a balance of reason and passion in his own works of art, and is also an artist who strives to create the most idyllic flavor of contemporary art.
