妈妈给我买了一本《小公主》,书中生动有趣、悲喜交加的情节深深地吸引了我。我非常敬佩小主人公撒拉·库尔。作者白涅德夫人是美国著名作家,她于1849年生于英国,4岁时父亲去世,家族也随着破产了,她与母亲来到了美国。由于家境贫困,白涅德夫人没有受过正规教育,但她却写得一手好文章。《小公主》这部作品是虚构的。但主人公坚强不屈的性格却跟白涅德夫人十分相似。可以说,白涅德夫人的一生展现在这部小说当中了。
