Objective To explore the hazards of occupational chronic low dose radiation on human health and provide a scientific basis for ensuring the health of radiological workers in Cangzhou. Methods The peripheral blood lymphocyte culture method was used to analyze the chromosome aberration and micronucleus rate of radiation workers by χ2 test. Results Compared with the control group, the chromosome aberration rate of radiation workers was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.01), and the frequency of micronucleus increased with the increase of radioactive staff length. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). Conclusion Long-term low-dose ionizing radiation has a damaging effect on the health of radiation workers. Therefore, it is a very arduous task to train protective knowledge, improve the working environment and provide protective measures.
