Purpose and Methods: To investigate the pathogenesis of endothelin in renal ischemia-reperfusion injury, we observed the effect of endothelin-antibody on renal ischemia / reperfusion injury in rat model of renal ischemia / reperfusion injury Role. Results: Serum urea nitrogen (SUN), creatinine (SCr) and plasma endothelin (ET) levels were significantly increased in rats with renal ischemia / reperfusion injury and the production of lipid peroxides malondialdehyde (MDA) Tubular epithelial cells were significantly damaged. Application of endothelin monoclonal antibody can significantly reduce the PET level and MDA content, reduce renal tubular epithelial cell damage, improve renal function. Conclusion: Endothelin is one of the important factors involved in the pathogenesis of renal ischemia / reperfusion injury. Blocking the biological function of ET is an effective way to prevent renal ischemia / reperfusion injury.
