2002年的世界杯预选赛已经接近了尾声,在剩下的比赛中,还有十个名额等待瓜分。南美洲第五名之争尚有些悬念,因为第五名的球队将和澳洲的澳大利亚队争夺一张世界杯入场券。而巴西队已经基本摆脱了对手,第四名估计没有问题了,除非他们的球员都成了白痴。欧洲的附加赛将决定4张入场券的归属,另外第二小组的第二名爱尔兰队将和西亚的伊朗队争夺一张入场券。可以说精彩的高潮部分基本上已经过去了。因此,笔者忍不住要说出点不太很沾边的闲话来。
