野麻湾堡是嘉峪关城防体系的重要组成部分,具有重要的历史和科学价值。论文从现状调查入手,探讨了野麻湾堡的保存状况,指出堡址存在的主要病害有:裂缝、冲沟、酥碱、掏蚀、风化、剥落、坍塌及鸟类和人为破坏等,并对病害成因进行了初步分析。提出了夯土嵌补、锚杆加固、裂缝处理、PS渗透加固、排水治理、防人为破坏等保护措施和施工工艺,为下一步进行保护工作提供依据。
