白辛树(Pterastyrax psilophylla Diels.ek perk),属安息香科白辛树属的高大乔木,国家三级重点保护植物,有关资料从未记载秦岭有分布。我们在洋县茅坪林场的东坪等处,发现有保留完整的白辛树天然混交林,为秦岭分布新记录。为了保护和发展这一树种资源,我们对白辛树的群落构成、生长进程作了调查研究,初步整理归纳如下。一、形态特征落叶乔木,高可达20余米,胸径达50厘米。树皮褐色或灰褐色,浅纵裂。单叶互生,叶片坚纸质,倒卵形或倒卵状长圆形,稀椭圆形,长8—13cm,宽(?)—7cm,先端骤尖,基部宽楔形或近圆(?),边缘具稀 Psychedelica psilophylla Diels.ek perk is a tall arbor of the genus Benzoin and belongs to the three national key protected plants.
