In 2014, natural gas output rose steadily in China and reached about 1271×108m3, rising by 8.0% as compared to that in 2013. Shale gas rose by more rapidly and was about 13×108m3, rising by 11×108m3 as compared to that in 2013. Both growth rate and growth of imported natural gas dropped and were 578×108m3 in total. Apparent consumption of natural gas was 1786×108m3 about and the growth rate was about 7.8%. Growth rate sources e of natural gas power generation slowed down, and gas for heating became sources for growth. Macroeconomic environment in 2015 was unfavorable for rapid growth of natural gas industry, price soaring would continue to inhibit demand growth. It was estimated that growth rate of apparent consumption in the whole year of 2015 would remain flat with 2014 and maintain a digit level.
