THz技术是于上世纪90年代所发展起来的一门科学,其主要是太赫兹辐射的简称,THz技术主要是指频率范围于0.1THz—10THz之间的一种电磁辐射,此波段位于微波与红外光之间,早期,由于缺乏行之有效的探测方式与探测技术,致使人们对THz技术的认识与研究均非常有限。然而,近些年来,迅速发展的激光技术为THz脉冲的产生奠定了基础,更为其提供了稳定与可靠的激发光源,从而使THz辐射得到了迅速发展与广泛应用。
