江泽民同志指出:“教育是知识创新、传播和应用的主要基地。也是培养创新精神和创新人才的摇篮。”《数学课程标准》的目标之一也是培养学生的创新精神。数学为培养学生的创新思维品质提供了丰富材料和土壤。教师应将课堂教学作为培养学生创新精神的主阵地,深挖数学教材本身蕴含的创造因素,在课堂教学中设计创造氛围,为学生提供创造契机,鼓励学生思考、探索,关注学生在学习活动中所表现出来的灵感、数感和情感,善于帮助学生观察世界、认识自我、挑战自我,从而培养学生的创新思维品质。
