对于危险品公路运输的车辆,从事相关车辆技术研发的技术专家认为,要满足运输需要,确保运输设备和装卸设备的安全性,应在车辆本身设计上入手,改变其“先天性基因”。车辆要有足够的安全系数,一般设计要求超过负荷能力的三分之一,如额定载荷5吨的车,应能达到6～7吨的能力。装运机械必须有消除火花产生的防爆装置。禁止使用易摩擦产生火花的工具,使用的工具上也不能粘有与所装货物相抵触的污染物。
