城市化是一个国家或地区现代化的重要途径和标志,也是世界各国经济社会发展的趋势,没有城市化就不可能实现现代化。而目前我国推进城市化进程的一个主要障碍就是传统的户籍制度。但是,传统户籍制度表现出越来越不适应社会主义市场经济的发展,它已然成为我国城市化进程的一个瓶颈。本文正是在这一背景下,试图从加快城市化的角度阐述我国传统户籍制度改革的必要性和紧迫性,探讨户籍制度改革的基本对策。
Urbanization is an important way and symbol of the modernization of a country or region. It is also a trend of economic and social development in various countries in the world. Without urbanization, modernization can not be achieved. At present, one of the major obstacles to China’s progress in urbanization is the traditional household registration system. However, the traditional household registration system has shown itself less and less suited to the development of the socialist market economy and has become a bottleneck in the process of urbanization in our country. Under this background, this paper tries to explain the necessity and urgency of the reform of our country’s traditional hukou system from the angle of accelerating the urbanization, and discusses the basic countermeasures of the reform of hukou system.
