1. INTRODUCTION Most chemical accidents are associated with explosive and non-explosive leaks of toxic and flammable materials (Figure 1). Although the incidence of such accidents is not high, but often have serious consequences. This article describes only passive measures to prevent the explosion of reactive and nonreactive tanks.
