玉米是高产作物,但由于玉米收获机械化没有解决,人工作业用工量多,劳动强度大。因此,使扩大玉米种植面积受到限止。在各级党委领导下,由黑龙江省生产建设兵团十八团、二十团,五十五团、黑龙江省农机研究所和一机部机械院农机所等单位组成了玉米收获机械研究小组,于一九七三年开始设计试制。同时设计了两种样机,4YW—2屯垦—1号(图1)和4YL—2屯垦二号(图3),并在同年八月开始多次试验。一九七四年初根据样机存在问题,进行改进设计。同年十月于黑龙江生产建设兵团二十团、由黑龙汪省农机鉴定站主持,通过了鉴定,初步定型,小批投产。本文根据有关资料摘编
