北洺河铁矿为接触交代矽卡岩型磁铁矿床,应用无底柱分段崩落法开采,分段高度15 m,进路间距18 m。在上部矿体开采中一直沿用这一参数,取得了较好的技术经济效果。然而近年来,随着采深的增加,矿石损失率有增大的趋势,所以需重新确定深部矿体结构参数。为此,根据目前无底柱分段高度发展趋势,按照3分段回采原则以及有利于回收下盘残留矿量的原则,推荐东部厚矿体选取20 m的分段高度。根据重新测定的深部矿体散体流动参数以及分段高度与进路间距的关系式,计算得出20 m的分段高度能更好地适应目前18 m的进路间距,并提出了不同分段高度间的过渡方式。
