小麦在我社播种面积和产量均占粮食作物的百分之六十。近年,由于小麦全蚀病的蔓延,严重影响了小麦生产。我们根据外地经验,针对本社实际,对小麦全蚀病作了全面调查。小麦全蚀病,群众叫作“烂根病”、“黑根病”。在我社出现于一九七三年,当时误认为是灌水施肥过多而引起的烂根,导致了小麦死亡。一九七五年已由零星发病到成片死亡。据对全社十四个大队全部麦田调查:全蚀病普遍严重发生,发病面积达六千三百六十二亩,
