平台经济是指依托虚拟交易空间,为双边(或多边)客户提供交易信息和交易机会,以促成双方(或多方)实现交易并由此产生经营效益的新型商业模式。近年来,江东区通过实施平台经济研究、平台企业培育、平台要素保障等三方面举措,大力发展平台经济,全力助推省委省政府提出的“四换三名”工程中的“电商换市”。目前江东区共有以电子商务为主要代表的平台企业161家,自2009年起年均增加30家以上,其中甬商所、世贸通和世废网等11家企业推动了平台上线运行,2013年1-8月,平台交易总额超过1200亿元,平台经济发展初具规模。
