中国共产党一贯重视党性教育。延安时期,党中央及毛泽东等中央领导在文件、讲话、文稿中明确提出并反复强调党性、党性教育、共产党员的修养等课题,这些红色典籍关于党性教育的内容主要包括全党的统一性、集中性和“看齐”意识,革命利益为第一生命、个人利益服从党的利益,理论联系实际、追求真理,批评与自我批评等。党的十八大以来,习近平总书记对党性教育的重要意义提出了新论断,对党性教育内容作出了新概括,对党性锻炼提出了新要求。习近平总书记对党性教育的重要论述与红色典籍关于党性教育的基本内容、基本要求是一致的,又体现了党的历史方位、历史任务的要求,体现了鲜明的时代特征,是对红色典籍的继承和发展。学习研究红色典籍关于党性教育的论述,对深入学习领会和贯彻习近平总书记关于党性教育的重要论述,具有重要意义。
