- The phenomena of stress concentration of tubular T joints are investigated widely in the present paper. After investigation of many experimental data of stress concentration factor of T joints and numerical computation of 100 examples of T joints subjected to axial load and out plane bending load, the interaction curves between stress concentration factor and geometric parameters α, β, γ, τ of tubular T joints are provided. According to these curves and in comparison with experimental data, some tables for designers are performed. The reliability analyses of these tables are also presented here.
