太阳化学(Sun Chemical)已将37型数字印刷系统生产线升级到37D型。这是一种单通道紫外线(UV)喷墨打印机,旨在为CD/DVD光盘制作提供一个更省钱的解决方案。37型喷墨打印机于2006年6月发布,由太阳化学与总部设在英国的专业制造商Copytrax Technologies联合开发。新的37D型在原来的基础上做了不少改进。37D型更加紧凑和经济,每张盘片成本降低到0.015欧元(约0.15RMB),也降低了对图像设计的要求。据太阳化学工业油墨营销经理Robin McMillan说,在高分辨率情况下,37D型喷墨打印机比最大竞争对手至少快三倍。
Sun Chemical has upgraded the Line 37 digital printing system to the Model 37D. This is a single-channel UV inkjet printer designed to provide a more economical solution for CD / DVD disc production. The 37 inkjet printer was released in June 2006 and was jointly developed by Sun Chemical with copytrax Technologies, a UK-based manufacturer. The new model 37D made a lot of improvements on the basis of the original. The Model 37D is more compact and economical, reducing the cost per sheet to € 0.015 (about 0.15RMB), reducing the need for image design. According to Robin McMillan, Ink Marketing Manager at Sun Chemical Industries, the 37D inkjet printer is at least three times faster than the largest competitor at high resolution.
