中国是一个有着数千年文明历史的国家,其丰富多彩的雕塑艺迹在世界艺坛向来占有公认的一席之地。从原始拟形器创作到现代雕塑艺术,是后人永远学不完,取不尽的创作源泉。 我出生于石雕之乡——福建莆田的一个石雕艺术世家,自15岁开始学习石雕工艺以来,我就认为只有认真学习祖先传授下来的传统艺术,才谈得上有所创新和进取。于是,我从进莆田工艺一厂学习雕刻艺术开始,就时刻不忘刻苦学习,潜心钻研,从对作品的内涵分析到材料的选取等方面深入思考、分析、形成了自己对石雕艺术的独特见解。1996年,我与哥哥朱伯雄采用花岗石,共同设计及制作了一尊高达15米的大型《清水祖师》石
