TTS型衰减器是一种利用分布网络的同轴固定衰减器,它具有一个分布的串联、并联电阻来作传输损耗,结构上是在一块具有较高介电常数的片状陶瓷基体上(97~99%的氧化铝),采用真空喷涂技术制成一个以钽(Ta)作电阻材料的矩形电阻,电阻两端各接一条按一定阻抗设计的微带电极作同轴线的中心导带(见图),供给与预先设计的同轴线内导体相接,另外两端是二条微带金属电极与外壳相接,这样就组成了一种宽带衰减器。其频率范围从0到12.4千兆赫中具有良好的频率响应。
