The Tumen River is a boundary river between China and the DPRK and the two countries. It is the main water source for people’s livelihood and production in the areas along the Yangtze River between the two countries. With the development of industry and agriculture in both countries, the Tumen River is increasingly seriously polluted, which has seriously affected the people’s health and the industrial and agricultural production along the Yangtze River.
