OBJECTIVE: To understand the composition of rodents and their parasitic fleas and to provide basis for their prevention and control. Methods: Using a uniform type of rat-trapping tool, a unified ear-inducing method was used to catch mice in different habitats. The flea was harvested by fumigation with diethyl ether. Free fleas were obtained using viscous flea paper. The rat fleas were identified by classification
