他是中原大地一个普通的公安干警,一个平凡的共产党员。但他忠诚无私、廉洁奉公、忘我敬业的精神却感染着千万人。 他叫史作善,是河南省拓城县看守所的管教员。 参加工作30多年,职位变换十多次,他总是说:“只要工作需要,咋能向组织讨价还价,当官是一时的,共产党员是永远的。” 1993年11月,史作善任指导员的县公安局防暴大队改成巡警队,局里考虑他腿脚不方便,准备调他到刑警队当指导员,可他却说:“刑警队是局里的尖刀,应该让年富力强的人去干。”他要求到一般青年干警不愿去的看守所当看守员。史作善是这次调整的干警中第一个到新岗位上班的。
