集邮是一项知识面很广泛的文化活动,通过集邮能开阔视野,增长和传播科学文化知识,树立崇高的爱国主义思想,又是建设社会主义精神文明的一个组成部分。为了紧密配合教学,培养学生学习地理的浓厚兴趣,我在学校成立了集邮小组,指导学生利用课余时间搞“地理专题集邮”。要求学生收集旧票及旧票中的普通信销票和纪念邮票,特种邮票中的低面值票。地理教学最好能配以图画,这样直观形象,利于提高学生的学习兴趣,加强学习记忆。“地理专题集邮”就是将邮票上的图案与课文中的内容有机地结合在一起, Philately is a cultural activity with a wide range of knowledge.
