I. Introduction At present, thermistors have been widely used for rapid and accurate temperature measurement due to their small size, low thermal inertia, and improvements in sensitivity, stability and overall performance. Thermistors, however, are seldom used alone because their resistance values are highly non-linear with temperature and do not create a linear input / output relationship within the temperature range of interest. In order to overcome this shortcoming, passive resistance can be used in series or parallel with the thermistor, which reduces the sensitivity but enlarges the linearity
