共调查日照市１９８４～１９９２年饮食从业人员７３１２７人，查出细菌性痢疾（以下简称菌痢）１５６人，检出率０．２１％，菌型以福氏居多，６１例，占菌型的３９．１１％。男高于女，其趋势是随年龄增长检出率逐渐下降，在不同饮食行业中，以食品销售业最高。菌痢（包括带菌者，检出率由１９８４年的０．６４％，１９８６年的０．７７％，下降到１９９１的０．０４％，１９９２年的０．０５％。说明饮食从业人员每年进行健康查体发现菌痢及时调离治疗是完全必要的，只有这样才能控制菌痢的传播和流行。也才能使食品从业人员的健康查体具有社会效益。
