In August of this year, I attended the 34th National Assembly of the Republican Party in New Orleans, Louisiana. I witnessed the entire process of the General Assembly’s election of President Bush and Quirrell as presidential and vice presidential candidates for the party. With an unprecedented grand occasion, more than 45,000 people gathered in the United States from various states and even the world. Among them, 2,277 were formally state representatives, 2,277 alternate representatives, 15,000 journalists and 10,000 conventions Volunteer staff and more than 300 guests from over 40 countries. The venue is located in a huge arched gymnasium west of downtown. Built in 1975, the world’s largest gymnasium accommodates 87,000 spectators. In order to make the conference receive better results, a 90-foot-high, 600-foot-wide giant screen of about three tons was specially produced to split the stadium into two parts, one half for the venue,
